Wild Rally

by Cassie Lomeli

Fresno High’s gymnasium was the venue for the Winter Sports Rally. Signs lined the walls, designating seating for each class and sport. The showcased sports included girls and boys soccer, wrestling, girls and boys basketball, Rock Climbing, Unified Basketball, and the Ski Team. Each sports club made its way to the center of the gym, introducing themselves after a brief formal speech.

Following the announcement of each sport, the talented Darrell Austin entertained with his dance performances. A fun game took place during the rally, where participants held their partner's legs while trying to collect colored balls in their baskets, competing to see who could gather the most. There was also an inflatable animals wrestling between Mr. Amador and Mr. Rivera.

After Nikko, Aron Montellano, who is 144 lbs, also wrestled and lost by getting pinned.
