Fresno High School: Boy’s Varsity Basketball 2024

On January eleventh, 2024, Fresno High School’s boys’ basketball varsity team played a league game at Sunnyside. Sunnyside is a top-ranked school that we had beat. The score was 89 to 80. “This game really gave our team had the confidence and the encouragement to realize that we could defeat any team.” Quoted by Habeeb Alhnlemi

The team consists of 11 players. They played about 24 different games but unfortunately, only made it to the first playoff game. This was an away game, hosted on February thirteenth, 2024, by Sierra Pacific and lasted almost 2 hours. The final score was 78 to 76, Sierra Pacific being the winner. Habeeb Alhnlemi also says “-this game was one of my favorites because we had came back down by 20 points, making it where we were off by 2 points. This shows us that our team doesn’t give up, even if we lost; we proved to have high morale and perseverance.”
