My future’s so bright, I got to wear shades!

On September 4, the Class of 2024 arrived at Fresno High at 5:30 am to set up the Senior Sunrise. Starting at 6:00 am, FHS seniors watched the sunrise together while eating muffins and ordering drinks from Clash Coffee and Boba.
Every senior that attended received a special pair of Senior Sunrise Star Sunglasses and there was a photobooth to keep the memories forever. The students sat on their blankets at Warrior Park as the sun rose at 6:33 am. Music and games continued until 8:00 am.
“Senior Sunrise was a huge success! Students were grateful for the quality time we got to spend with one another as a kickoff to our homecoming week. CO24 planning committee worked diligently to provide our seniors with a space to enjoy themselves and relax before the year kicks into full gear. The decorations, food and activities were a big hit!” exclaimed Sydney Maroot, president of the Class of 2024 Club.
