Selma JROTC competition

At the JROTC Bear challenge competition cadets come from all different schools and go to compete in different sports sections. The schools included consist of Fresno High School, McLane, Turlock, Parlier, Duncan, Dinuba and the high school that hosted Selma High School.
This event is the second annual Bear Challenge. Fresno High’s JROTC seventh period participated and returned with great scores. The Cap the “T” Team took first place. The Fresno High Bear Challenge event came in second to Selma, in this demanding event. Cornhole placed third and color guard placed fourth place. In each event, the Warriors came in top five out of seven schools’ total. The Fresno Warrior battalion returned in good graces.
“Fresno High wouldn't have succeeded without pushing ourselves to our limits. Events like this are why we stay motivated every day,” shared the FHS cadet commander Sergeant Major Ashley Sanchez.
