Magical Evening at FHS for Tree Lighting 2024

On the evening of December 4, 2024, Fresno High School celebrated its annual holiday tree lighting and posada in Warrior Park, welcoming the local community and their families to participate. The event featured a variety of attractions, including student performances, cookie decorating, food trucks, vendors, and club fundraisers, along with a special appearance from Santa.
Performances showcased the talents of the Orchestra, Band, and an impressive routine from the Folklorico group. Additionally, a group of student musicians played traditional Mexican music just outside Royce Hall. Senior bassist Juan Medrano shared, “I saw two Santas. One is bald, and one is as big as me. This is my last tree lighting ceremony, and the tree has no star, so I’m kind of sad about it.”
Nevertheless, students thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday tradition.
