Preparing for the Little Big Pig Game: Fresno High's Fun Week of Team Spirit
by Vanessa Flores
To get students and staff excited for the upcoming Little Big Pig Game, the Fresno High Leadership class, led by Mrs. Melissa Bangerter, organized a whole week of fun activities. The week, known as Little Big Dress Up Week 2023, was dedicated to showcasing Fresno High's school spirit. Here's a rundown of the week's events:
**Monday, October 23:** Jersey Day. Everyone was encouraged to wear their favorite team jerseys to show support.
**Tuesday, October 24:** Boots and Buckles Day. The school community put on their best western and cowboy attire.
**Wednesday, October 25:** Pink Out. Inspired by the pig's pink color and the popular movie Mean Girls, students and staff wore pink.
**Thursday, October 26:** Anything But a Backpack Day. This was a chance for everyone to get a little silly and creative, as long as their outfit could fit through the door.
**Friday, October 27:** Spirit Day. This was the day of the game, and the theme was pink, purple, or gold – the school's colors. The Fresno High community showed their support for the team and their school by dressing up in spirit wear.
Thanks to the efforts of the leadership class, the school was buzzing with energy and excitement all week long.
