Fresno High School hosted an its yearly event that brings students and the community together to celebrate the holiday season. The highlight of the event is the lighting of a large pine tree near the New North Building. In 2023, the festivities took place on November 30th from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The event featured a diverse selection of food trucks, serving up tasty treats such as Mexican food, donuts, Boba tea, Dutch Bros coffee, and hot cocoa among others. Guests were also treated to a variety of performances inside Royce Hall, including those from Folklórico, Band, and Cheer. The pièce de résistance was the appearance of Santa Claus himself, who took pictures with guests and spread Christmas cheer alongside a police horse (instead of his usual reindeer and sleigh).
