Their game days are Wednesday at 3pm, sometime 4pm. The team has a record of three wins and zero losses. Their win was on February 28, against Hoover High School, with a score of 56-54. The team’s goal this year is to have an undefeated season and win the championship.
“I am so proud of how hard our team has worked to be undefeated. Coaching this team has by far been the most rewarding to me,” shared Coach Echeveste.
“Being the manager of this team and working alongside the players has been an incredible experience. Seeing how hard the players work and give their all-in games despite the challenges, is inspiring to me and I am so proud of how much they’ve continued to grow through the season,” said Manager Aidahlyn Louangphom (11)

On Monday, March 18, the Boys Golf Team from Fresno High School held their inaugural home opener at Bluff Pointe against McLane High School. The event featured four 1v1 matches where individual scores were tallied. Fresno High School secured victory in 3 out of 4 matches, marking a successful start to the season. Two days later, on Wednesday, March 20, Fresno competed against Hoover High School at Airways. Despite being short-handed, Fresno High School put up a strong fight. They managed to win 1 out of 5 matches, resulting in a balanced 1-1 record. This season marks one of the few occasions in recent years that Fresno High School has had a golf team that meets competition criteria. With enough players and a young core, the golf program aims to develop a formidable team capable of potentially winning the NYL for the first time since 1958. Team captain Joseph Cardoza expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "It's great to see more people participating and enjoying the sport, especially after the limited participation we've had in recent years."
