Class of 2022

Commencement Ceremony at the SaveMart Center.

Held at the SaveMart Center on June 8, 2022, at 8pm, Fresno High School was the last FUSD high school to partake in the graduation ceremony for the 2022 school year. 357 students walked the stage, highlighting the perseverance and resiliency this group of young adults showcased during the past four years of high school, which included words like “pandemic,” “distance learning,” “asynchronous time,” and “social distancing.”

The Class of 2022 bid farewell to what one can only describe as a surreal high school experience. High school itself is a crucible of endurance, mental acuity, social adaptability, and, as Principal Linda Laettner quoted author A.A. Milne, the acts of being “braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
