October is Breast Cancer Awareness which means the school has a Pink Game! Everyone goes all out in pink. Cheerleaders wear pink bows and shirts. Football players wear pink sleeves, pink sweatbands, and some even wear pink gloves. The school culture director Mrs. Bangerter got shirts made for people who want to buy pink shirts, which were $18.

Fresno High School is all about supporting, that’s why the school plays this game because we care about those who have or find out they have Breast Cancer. The game was at Sunnyside on October 7. Unfortunately, the football team did lose but there are always more games. Sunnyside also had their Pink Game that too, so it was cool to see the different ways people wore pink.
