It all started…
On December 9, 2022, Fresno High gathered in Royce Hall for the first time since before Covid to enjoy the Multicultural Assembly. The event was host by Mrs. Anoush Ekparian, who wore a traditional Armenian gown.
The assembly began with the presentation of flags from around the world.
Then there were dances from the Hmong culture, the Nigerian Culture, Folklorico, and the Hula Ohana Dancers. Even Coach Jesus Campos traded his running shoes for dancing shoes. Then there was Mikaili Harris and Anijah Evans who performed an original spoken word piece.
Music was provided by the Indigenous musician Stoney Cloud, the Fresno High Choir, Tito Vino, Bay of Pigs and Nueva Alianza. Color Guard also participated in the assembly, showcasing their intricate flag work.
