Farewell: Daisy Alvarado
Senior year will forever hold a special place in my heart, it was by far my happiest time, and I made some of the best memories. In the four years of being here I met so many people and created long-lasting friendships. Highschool was a roller-coaster full of emotions, but I can proudly say I lived my high school years to their full potential.
Having my boyfriend, Emilio, by my side cheering me on in everything I did made my high school experience so much better. Emilio always made sure to get me to wake up in the mornings and show up to school. He made sure to push me even when I felt I couldn’t anymore. I will forever be thankful to him for pushing me to be the best version of myself.
My sister and mom always made sure to provide for me emotionally and economically. Everything I do is for them and to make them proud. I will forever love them unconditionally.
I am super thankful for my two favorite teachers, Ms. Sciacqua and Mr. Perez, these two teachers, were always there for me and looked out for me. The amount of patience they have and love for their job is incredible. They always pushed me to my full potential and made sure I knew I had their support in everything I did.
Being a part of the Fresno High cheer squad for three years allowed me to grow as a person overall. While on the team I met my two best friends Mairin and Lilith. Not only did I create great friendships, but I also became a part of a squad that became family. Although COVID did ruin many things our coaches always tried to give us the full experience. During my senior year our competition squad made history being undefeated the whole season. These are all memories that I will cherish forever.
Although leaving high school will be emotional, I am very excited for a new chapter in my life. So many spontaneous memories were made during my senior year, that I can look back at them and smile.
