Farewell: Conor Hustedde
Farewell Fresno High. I hope I am coming out of high school a wiser and more moral individual than before. Through my time at Fresno High, my future has become a bit clearer.
My freshman year I came in naive and unfocused. The challenges and shortcomings I faced that year pushed me to be more stoic and rational, which I appreciate and utilize to this day. Although hindered by Covid, I did my best to continue growing my knowledge and understanding of the world throughout sophomore and junior year. Did this school contribute to that? I’m not sure. Maybe a lot, or maybe not at all. Perhaps the environment here had a profound influence on my outcome as a person. I cannot say either for certain. Still, I’m appreciative of who I’ve become, and I recognize the school as a place of growth.
Once I leave, I hope I can mature further and expand my knowledge about all aspects of life. I plan to manage my time better in university.
